BMD Bunnies is not responsible for any accidental breeding.
Any evidence of abuse, neglect, improper diet, heat stroke, failure to follow feeding instructions, physical accidents, rabbits housed or transported with other breeders rabbits, death or injury caused by other animals as determined by my veterinarian (at buyers expense) will render this warranty VOID.
I sex my rabbits before I sell them, however mistakes are sometimes made; I'm not perfect. I encourage and expect you to check the sex of the bunny you purchase before you leave. I will not be obligated to refund or exchange any bunny because of wrong sex, BUT I will consider it depending on the time-line it was brought to my attention.
***This guarantee does not cover teeth, personality, fertility, promise of wins or successful production. I cannot guarantee what a junior will look like as a senior nor can I guarantee how well a rabbit will place on the show table. I will not guarantee any rabbit to be show quality.
Rabbits can be unpredictable! I do not knowingly sell vicious animals. I will not be responsible in any way for injuries caused by the handling of our rabbits before or after the sale is complete.
Feeding Instructions:
1. Abrupt changes in feed can cause an upset stomach in rabbits. Changing feed too quickly can
cause diarrhea and/or death. BMD Bunnies uses Purina Fiber 3 and/or Purina Show Rabbit. I will try to send rabbits with a supply of my feed, which will allow time for you to obtain more of the same feed or to mix with a feed of your choice. This is not always possible, so owners must be responsible for acquiring the proper feed for their new rabbits.
2. When changing feed, mix equal parts of the original feed and the new feed. Gradually increase new feed & decrease original feed. Withdraw new feed if there is any sign of diarrhea and replace with only oatmeal, hay and water until stools return to normal. Then reintroduce mixed feed gradually.
3. Free feed babies less than 3 months. After 3 months, decrease feed to ½ cup for dwarf breed rabbits. Free feed meat breed rabbits until 6-9 months of age. Basic adult ration: 1 oz. Per pound of adult body weight. During extreme cold weather outdoor rabbits ration may be increased by half. Always keep fresh water available for them at ALL times, especially in the winter.
4. I recommend that you feed fresh Timothy hay at least once a week. I do not recommend feeding fruits and vegetables as some are known to kill rabbits. I do feed a conditioning whole grain mix which I purchase from Barbi Brown Bunnies.
I have read and accept the sales policy!
